FANTASTIC shit! And wouldn't it be nice if SOMEone in such a situation DIDN'T apologize for it? He's only sorry he got CAUGHT...like most of us are in any given "gotcha!" moment. HOW many times did you whine you were REALLY, REALLY sorry as a kid to get out of a punishment...when you were merely pissed you were punished? Oh, wait, we still do that as adults.
