GOODBYE, Windows 98!!!!!

That's right...I used Windows 98 until today. It's almost 3 in the morning and my eyes are getting heavy, so I won't bore you with too many specifics here. But, inexplicably, it JUST dawned on me this week to seek out someone who may have a newer Windows disc I could use to install. And I found that magical disc pretty quickly. Installed it this evening. Presto! Suddenly, out of nowhere, my computer screen actually resembles 2009. And it only gets better! The new XP I installed today allows -- for the first time!!!! -- a printer and speakers to work out of this still archaic '98 hard drive. It's all more than you could ever imagine. TRULY life altering. Seriously. Quite a computer week Gary's having!

*PS, the faster computer and fact that sites actually look like they SHOULD only means I'll be MORE inspired to sit in front of my computer and...WRITE!! YAY!! OK, 3am...damn red wine always knocks me out....
