Silent tears falling as August draws to a close

Goodbye, sweet final month of meteorological summer! How I will miss thee! I took advantage of your last day by roaming NYC, watching the sun set over NJ, then going to Shop-Rite. By the way, though it looked a bit foolish and dangerous on the news, I'm actually an instant big fan of the new "pedestrian plazas" littering what used to be parts of Manhattan streets. I stood and sat in numerous places without being hit by a cab. Wonderful!
